Day 1: Arrival in Uganda & Transfer to Bwindi

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your Travad Tours guide and begin your scenic journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive passes through Uganda’s stunning countryside, featuring rolling hills, tea plantations, and local villages, offering a gradual introduction to the country’s natural beauty.

Arrive in the evening at your lodge near the forest, where you will relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the gorilla trekking adventure ahead.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Bwindi Forest

 After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before entering the dense rainforest. Begin your trek through thick vegetation and rugged terrain in search of a habituated gorilla family, an experience that may take several hours but is deeply rewarding.

Once located, spend a magical hour observing the gorillas as they feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat before returning to your lodge for relaxation and reflection.

Day 3: Return to Kampala / Entebbe

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy scenic views of Uganda’s countryside along the way, with stops for lunch and photography. Arrive in the afternoon or evening for drop-off at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your gorilla trekking experience.
