Day 1: Arrival in Uganda – Kampala Transfer & Rest
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your Travad Tours guide and transferred to your hotel in Kampala. The rest of the day is reserved for relaxation after your flight, allowing you to settle in and prepare for the journey ahead. Depending on arrival time, you may enjoy a quiet evening at your hotel.
Day 2: Kampala City Tour & Ndere Cultural Centre
After breakfast, explore Kampala on a guided city tour covering historical landmarks, cultural sites, markets, and hidden gems. Learn about Uganda’s history and daily life through visits to key heritage sites and local neighborhoods. In the evening, enjoy a vibrant cultural performance at Ndere Cultural Centre showcasing traditional music, dance, and storytelling from across Uganda.
Day 3: Agro-Tourism Experience – Kaynela Farms / Ewaffe Cultural Village
Today is dedicated to Uganda’s rural and agricultural heritage. Visit Kaynela Farms or Ewaffe Cultural Village for an immersive agro-tourism experience, including farm walks, traditional food preparation, and cultural storytelling. Guests will interact with local communities and experience Uganda’s farming traditions, livestock practices, and indigenous crops.
Day 4: Transfer to Jinja – Adventure Capital of Uganda
Depart Kampala for Jinja, stopping at scenic viewpoints along the way. On arrival, explore the source of the River Nile and enjoy optional activities such as boat rides or relaxing by the riverbanks. The evening is spent at a comfortable lodge in Jinja.
Day 5: Jinja Adventure Activities
Spend the day enjoying adventure experiences including quad biking, zip-lining, white-water rafting, or nature walks along the Nile. This is a perfect mix of adrenaline and relaxation in Uganda’s adventure capital. Return to your lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Drive north through rural Uganda to Murchison Falls National Park, passing scenic countryside and local communities. Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy your views of the savannah and wildlife. Relax at your lodge in preparation for safari activities.
Day 7: Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise
Start the day with an early morning game drive across the northern sector, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, witnessing hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Return to your lodge for a relaxing evening.
Day 8: Top of Murchison Falls & Transfer to Kibale (Evening Travel)
After breakfast, visit the Top of Murchison Falls to witness the powerful Nile forcing through a narrow gorge, creating one of Uganda’s most dramatic natural spectacles. After the visit, begin your long but scenic drive southwest toward Kibale Forest National Park, passing through rural landscapes, crater lakes, and tea plantations. Arrive in the evening and check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 9: Chimpanzee Tracking Experience – Kibale Forest National Park
After an early breakfast, proceed to Kibale Forest for a briefing before embarking on chimpanzee tracking with Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Trek through the tropical rainforest to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat, along with other primates and rich birdlife. Return to your lodge for relaxation in the afternoon.
Day 10: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Depart Kibale after breakfast and journey through scenic countryside, rolling hills, and traditional villages toward Bwindi. Arrive in the evening and settle into your lodge near the forest, enjoying a quiet dinner and preparing for the gorilla trekking experience.
Day 11: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Bwindi
After an early morning briefing, begin your unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Spend time tracking and observing mountain gorillas in their natural rainforest habitat before returning to the lodge. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure for relaxation and reflection.
Day 12: Return to Kampala – Rest Day & Craft Shopping
After breakfast, depart Bwindi and begin your journey back to Kampala with scenic stops along the way. Upon arrival in the afternoon or evening, check in to your hotel and enjoy a well-deserved rest after the safari circuit. Later, visit Kampala’s craft markets and souvenir shops for authentic handmade products, including baskets, carvings, textiles, and jewelry.
Day 13: Departure
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning depending on your flight schedule. You will then be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your Uganda adventure.
