Bookings & Payments

• A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
• Balance due 30 days before departure.
• Payments accepted via Bank Transfer, Mobile Money, Cash, Visa, or agreed methods.
• Bank charges are the client’s responsibility.

Cancellation & Refunds

• All cancellations must be communicated in writing.
• Refunds are subject to our cancellation policy, which may vary per package.
• 60+ days before departure: Full refund (minus admin fees)
• 30–59 days before departure: 50% refund
• Less than 30 days: No refund, but rescheduling or credit may be offered at Travad Tours’ discretion
• Force Majeure: Clients may reschedule or receive a credit voucher for cancellations due to natural disasters, political unrest, or pandemics.

Client Responsibilities & Travel Documents

• Clients must have valid travel documents and vaccinations, and comply with local laws.
• Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
• Travad Tours is not responsible for loss of personal belongings.
• We are not liable for issues arising from missing or invalid travel documents.

Liability

• Travad Tours is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage unless caused by proven negligence.
• Third-party service providers are vetted, but their actions are outside Travad Tours’ liability.
• We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or losses caused by third-party providers.

Changes to Itinerary

• Travad Tours reserves the right to adjust itineraries due to weather, safety, or government regulations.
• Clients will be informed promptly of any changes.

Compensation Policy

• If Travad Tours cancels a trip: Full refund or rescheduling at no extra cost
• For service shortfalls: Partial refunds or credits may be provided
• Claims must be submitted within 14 days of tour completion with supporting documents.

Data Protection

• Client information is handled with confidentiality and in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR for EU clients.

Governing Law

• These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with, the laws of Uganda, specifically the Contracts Act, 2010 (Act No. 7 of 2010).

Acknowledgment

By booking with Travad Tours, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
