This 7-day journey captures the spirit of Uganda through water, wildlife, and conservation. From tracing the Nile at Jinja to hiking the waterfalls of Sipi and planting a tree along the slopes of Mount Elgon, the adventure stretches north to the rugged savannahs of Murchison Falls and the rhino sanctuary at Ziwa. Designed for nature lovers and eco-travellers, it blends exploration with giving back.
Day 1: Arrival in Kampala – Jinja
Your safari begins with a scenic drive through Mabira Forest, reaching Jinja, the “Adventure Capital of East Africa.”
Day 2: Jinja – Sipi Falls
A water rafting at the Source of the Nile sets the tone as you enjoy a day of leisure to revel in your tour thus far.
Travel east to Sipi Falls on the slopes of Mount Elgon.
Day 3: Sipi
Hike between the cascading waterfalls, guided by local storytellers. In the afternoon, take part in a meaningful tree planting activity, leaving behind a green footprint. End the day with a hands-on coffee cupping experience.
Day 4: Sipi – Murchison Falls NP
Journey north through changing landscapes, arriving in Uganda’s largest park. Evening relaxation at your lodge with the Nile’s whispers in the background.
Day 5: Murchison Falls NP
A sunrise game drive brings close encounters with elephants, lions, giraffes, and buffalo.
The afternoon is yours; relax at the lodge or join an optional birding walk.
Day 6: Murchison Falls – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Head south to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. On foot with a ranger, track Uganda’s southern white rhinos, a powerful conservation story in action. En route to Kampala.
Day 7: Kampala – Departure
Depending on your flight, squeeze in a visit to local markets for fresh fruit or souvenirs before departure.
